The Novation REMOTE37 SL is a portable USB/MIDI controller keyboard equipped with 37 full-sized, semi-weighted keys, offering both velocity sensitivity and channel Aftertouch. The unit operates on the power of 4 "C"-cell batteries, and is endowed with two backlit LCD displays.
The REMOTE37 SL continues a healthy trend in portable controller keyboard design, increasing the number of available assignable controllers (64!), while simplifying navigation and programming with the Automap feature, which loads a preset parameter template for supported applications and plug-ins when those programs load in the host computer. All controls are assignable and real time, including 8 infinite rotation rotary knobs.
The REMOTE37 SL should have considerable appeal for live performers, remixers, producers and songwriters, basically any musician who has incorporated the laptop computer into his or her modus operandi.
